Kiersta Perlee was born and grew up in Vermont.  She holds an undergraduate degree in Political Science from California State University, Sacramento, and a law degree from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law.  She moved from Vermont to California after graduating from high school in 1985.  Ms. Perlee first became interested in becoming an attorney while studying political science, which is essentially the study of good government.  She believes that good laws equate to a good society.  To that end, she has drafted, debated, and voted on, proposed changes to the law as a delegate to the State Bar of California Conference of Delegates.  Ms. Perlee lives with her husband and their four children in Sacramento, California, where she has practiced law on behalf of plaintiffs for the past twelve years.
